Best Porch Heaters To Keep You Warm

There are quite a bit of porch heating options that you can use to stay warm outdoors in the colder months. A few types of porch heaters stand out because they are effective and easy to use.

Table Top Patio Heaters

Full size standing patio heaters were the original invention for porch heating. One thing that has come along are table top patio heaters that are much smaller than the full sized versions that can sit on table tops. Most of these will keep you warm up to 15 feet away.

Many of these are fueled by propane and can use the smaller or larger propane tanks. This normally is a better choice because the heater can go anywhere on your porch without worrying about electrical cords or natural gas lines.

This type of heater is extremely portable too so that it can be taken without like on a campout if needed.

Infrared Wall Heaters

If you live in a windy area, a table top patio heater might not work as well for you. The more wind there is the less effective the heating will be.

One option for porch heating is the infrared wall heater. These can be attached along the wall and use infrared heat. Instead of warming the air around the heater it will warm objects and surfaces in it’s path. Wind or no wind, there will still be heating. You can position these around your porch to heat the areas that need extra heat with a side effect of having some lighting as well.

Most of these are electrical, but the cords won’t be a problem because they can be run along the wall out of the way. The extra wind won’t effect the heater because it’s securely attached to the wall.
