Dayton G73 Utility Heater – Heat Your Garage With This Unit
The Dayton G73 utility heater is something that you can use to heat your garage. It’s practically made for that purpose since it’s rated to heat areas of 500 square feet which is about the size of most 2 car garages although many report using the G73 for larger areas.
What makes this utility heater stand out if that fact that it’s more efficient than propane heaters around it’s size and this one happens to be electric. You don’t have to worry about the fumes or carbon monoxide issues and still get efficiency.
It does have a fan which some don’t like but this one runs quiet.
The G73 heater is actually pretty small as it’s around 20 pounds, but it if effective at heating up a garage or shop.
The drawback of the Dayton G73 heater is the fact that is needs a 240v. You will need to have a 30A circuit or have it hard wired in to use this heater. If you already have one in your garage, then this heater is a great option. If this is going to cost you quite a bit of money to get the 240v plug, you might consider passing on the G73.
