Dimplex Garage Workshop Heaters

If you are looking for something to warm up your chilly shop or garage, then Dimplex garage workshop heaters are an option to consider.

These are electric heaters that make a good option if you don’t want to mess with ventilation like you would with other fuel sources. In small areas like a garage, venting problems can cause you problems.

The Dimplex garage heaters aren’t quite as fancy as many other garage heaters, but they are also less than half the price of the average shop heater.

They have a thermostat to help maintain a regular temperature which is a plus since most cheaper models only have settings like low and high.

It uses a fan. Dimplex claims it extremely quiet but you can still hear the fan but it’s not annoying.

You will need a 220 Volt 20A single circuit receptacle. Some garage heaters require the 30a which is expensive to install and you have to purchase the electrical cord to fit into those slots. With the Dimplex shop heaters you do not.

What’s interesting about these heaters are the mounting bracket. It’s made in a way that the heater can be hung from the ceiling or from the wall with the same bracket. This allows you to put it into the best place possible.

Don’t expect to feel the effects from this garage heater in the first 15 minutes. It’s going to take a little while to start warming up the air around the heater, but after it gets going it will maintain warm temperatures.

If you need something to be quickly warm for short periods of time, consider getting a radiant garage heater than can turn on and off quickly giving off heat instantly. For longer periods of time in the garage, a Dimplex heater is better.
