DSC patio heaters are another brand of heater products in the patio heating world.
These tend to be higher end heaters with higher costs associated with them as well. There are two popular models of these patio heaters that most people take a look at.
DCS Stainless Steel natural gas patio heater Built In DRH-48N
The DCS built in patio heater is a wall heater as opposed to the traditional stand up full sized model. It can mout to eaves and sit out of the way. It was a 58,000 BTU burner which will heat your patio more than enough.
The problems with this heater are that it’s natural gas only meaning that it will need a fuel source which is difficult to do when it’s on a wall. Another disappointing feature or lack of features is that it only has an on and off setting as opposed to high, mediums, and lows.
DCS : DRH48N 48in Built-in natural gas patio heater with 56,000 BTU Output
This model is the stand up full sized model. It has enough power that it can heat at least 20 feet of patio assuming that there isn’t alot of wind. It run on natural gas only. This can be good if you don’t want to have to worry about replacing tanks like with propane models.
For the price it’s a bit lacking on the features. You would expect a bit more out of it compared to others in it’s price range. With this type of heater, the standing type, if you don’t take care of it using a cover they can start breaking on you.
