The Honeywell HZ 2200 Mini Tower Surround Heater is a heating option that you can use in your home. It comes with a variety of features but also has it’s downsides.
Features
This Honeywell heater has an adjustable thermostat. Normally cheaper heaters lack this feature.
It comes with a safety feature to turn off automatically if the heater gets too hot which can help prevent heat and fire problems.
It has a great option of putting out heat in front of the heater or all around to heat up a room. You get the best of both worlds by having these two options.
Even at the hottest settings, the heater can still be fairly cool to the touch.
Downsides
Thermostat does work but isn’t that accurate. Get used to setting it hotter or colder based on feel and not what the settings say.
Even with the front option turned on sometimes it’s difficult to feel warm by this pointed at you while in a larger room.
At first this heater has a strong plastic smell, but it does go away.
This heater can be noisy. The auto-off feature sometimes will click on and off during the night so this isn’t a good heater to use in the bedroom while sleeping.
For the price (generally under $25), it’s a great heater for the features it comes with.
