The Mr. Heater Big Buddy portable heater is a great garage, shop, patio, or even indoor heater to keep you warm. It’s large handle design and ability to run off 1 pound propane tanks makes this an extremely portable unit.
This heater can heat about 400 square feet of space. When the heater is set on the low setting using a 20 pound propane tank, it will last for about 220 hours which is quite a long time of heating available.
The heat controls can be set to low, medium, and high settings and are large enough that you can change them even while wearing a pair of gloves.
Wall mounting is easy with this unit if you want to use it in your garage and keep it up off the ground.
It has a simple Piezo starter to get the propane burning and the heater started easy.
It has a blower fan to move around the heat. This can be powered by batteries or by an A/C adapter.
This Mr Buddy heater can be used indoors because it has a low-oxygen shut off system. At high altitudes of over a mile, this will trigger far too often for this heater to be useful. Always be careful about using propane heaters indoor because of carbon monoxide.
If you bump or trip over the heater, it will also automatically shut off as another safety feature.
