The Aspen Outdoor Fireplace
The aspen outdoor fireplace is a rather unique fire pit to heat your backyard and patio with. Most fire pits are bowl shaped that will hold your fire. Some have covers. The aspen outdoor fireplace is actually a large 25 inch square unit. It’s boxed shape design gives it its unique look.
When you have this lit, it gives off light on all sides of the box shape giving heat in all directions.
Since this outdoor fireplace is covered on all sides there is an access door on one side of it. This is what allows you to get inside to readjust the wood and light the fire.
For cleaning there is an ash tray or drawer that can be pulled out. This can hold multiple fires worth of ashes so it doesn’t have to be done all the time.
There are a few complaints about this product that aren’t really unique to this unit alone.
With frequent use the meshing on the sides of the fireplace tend to warp and bend. Many fire pits with the thin see through metal meshing suffer from this as it’s not the greatest material to stand up to heat.
Rust is another concern. This model does not come with a cover, so many people don’t think about the effect of rain and water on the fireplace. If you don’t cover it up and keep it from getting wet, it will rust so be careful.
